Medusa at the Neudata London Data Summit

Medusa founder Petr Merkuryev joined a panel at the Neudata London Data Summit on "AI at Work: Transforming Research Workflows," alongside Timothée Consigny (CTO, H2O Asset Management), Matthew Bell (Senior Data Scientist, Man Group), and Dr Ana Armstrong (Founder & CEO, AIM Cube), moderated by Takaya Sekine (Founder, Taim Consult & Professor, HEC Paris).

The discussion explored how investment teams are integrating AI into daily research workflows, the tension between augmenting and replacing human judgment, and what competitive edge looks like when AI capabilities become widely accessible.

Petr's contribution focused on how AI is closing the capability gap between large institutional firms and boutique managers, arguing that for lean investment teams, AI is not replacing the fund manager but replacing the support team the PM never had.
